Schedule an Appointment with Waterdown's Eye Care Optometrists

IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING

UPDATED PATIENT PROTOCOLS

Like most other medical and retail locations we have had to modify how we see patients due to covid-19. Before booking your appointment please scroll through and acknowledge that you have read our new protocols below. We look forward to seeing you soon!

Please arrive 5 minutes prior to your appointment time and pull into our back parking lot.

Text or call 905-379-8797 when you have arrived for your appointment and we will let you know when it is safe to come inside.

We require you to come in wearing a mask. Please respect the 2 meter social distancing guideline. We can supply you with a mask but there will be a minimum cost of $2 dollars with proceeds going to charity.

Please attend the appointment alone (exceptions will be for minors, mobility issues, translators).

Do not bring any extra items (bags, beverages, etc).

In order to minimize the amount of time you will need to be in the office (if you are a new patient or have not been seen in the clinic since 2014), we ask that you complete the patient form on our website www.waterdownoptometric.ca/new-patient. Please be sure to fill this out 2-3 days prior to you scheduled appointment.

We now have a strict 24 hour cancellation policy. If you do not attend your appointment or cancel with fewer than 24 hours’ notice, you will be automatically charged a fee of $60 for the missed appointment.

To ensure that our doctors get the best view of a patient’s retina and to cut down on the time both you and the doctor need to spend in close proximity, we have now made OPTOS retinal imaging a standard part of any eye exam. The fee for a standard comphrehensive eye exam is now $168; it is $188 for all contact lens wearers. The retinal imaging fee for all OHIP-covered patients is $48.00, $28.00 for youth.

We are here to help. It is important to us to help you achieve your best vision possible, and even more important that your eyes are healthy on an ongoing basis.

Patient safety is our #1 priority. We are taking precautions to provide a safe space for your visit. See you soon!
